Recently our colleague, Steve, participated at the Macmillan Cancer Support’s fundraising event in Balls Park Caravanning club, Hertford.
The annual event aims to raise funds for the ’public donations only’ foundation that helps families who are fighting cancer. Steve and his family have been attending in the past 7 years and grew to be important contributors to its success. Being the family who raised the most funds last year they really had to excel this June to keep their title. They were selling freshly baked pancakes, cupcakes and different sport and social activity participations involving their youngsters in all aspects of the day.
Showing care and supporting humanitarian causes is a topic close to our heart at Comar. We are proud of our employees who share the same values and we are happy to support them in these non-work related projects. Hence Comar Optics decided to help the fundraising of Steve and his family by donating ￡100, which is going to be used in the Macmillan Nurses Fund.
If you too would like to make a pledge please visit the website of the Macmillan Cancer Support. On behalf of the Macmillan Cancer Support we thank you for your help and donation.
